OVERLOAD OF KNIT
WE USE BOBBY'S SPARE ROOM TO KEEP ALL THE KNITTED GOOD'S! SO MUCH AMAZING ITEMS FOR OUR KNITTING SALES
When I started the 'I Just Wanna Knit' group in 2014 I was not working at University for the Creative Arts, I had time to attend the knitting group and take lots of lovely photos of everyone!
I apologies for not keeping you all up to date with images and posts... however when we have events and when the knitters complete an item I will take photos and publish!
Keep knitting everyone, theres no time to waist!
Finally we hand the £350 to the Born Too Soon charity at Kingston Hospital to Pauline Woods who is founder of the charity. Well done knitters, fantastic work! ... on to the next project!
Saturday 29th December we had our knitting sale at Kingston Hospital.
All money raised is donated to the Borne Too Soon charity.
We managed to raise £350!!!!!
We had a lovely time on Tuesday, we spent most of the morning chatting rather than knitting... tut tut!
Although Christmas is four months away, we've decided to have a stall at Kingston Hospital at the beginning of December. All money raised will be donated to the 'Born Too Soon' charity.... I already have my eye on a few bits.
Pauline from 'Born Too Soon' popped into the Rose Theatre and explained what help she needed for the charity which is held at Kingston Hospital. We are now going to knit blankets for the little babies and donate any money we raise from our knitted products to the charity. Thank you Pauline for coming to see us.
I met with Pauline and a gentleman named Barry at Kingston Hospital a few days ago. Pauline is part of the 'Born Too Soon' charity there and has been for years. Bobby from 'I Just Wanna Knit' knitted a load of tiny hats for the premature babies at the hospital. We are hoping to get more involved with this charity and knit for the little ones.
Jack (my boyfriend) filmed our knitting session as we were celebrating a whole year together. It was a wonderful morning, everyone really enjoyed themselves! Here are some screen shots from the footage... can't wait to show you the edit.
Bobby has knitted lots of tiny hats for the premature babies at Kingston Hospital, lets keep those little heads nice and warm.
