The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to new skills and techniques to create and design ‘in the spirit of making’. We will use simple materials to create something that is unique. To have a chain reaction of ideas, experimental random outcomes and to have no boundaries. Work with colours, tools and materials that are new to you. The idea is to challenge yourself to do something unexpected and innovative. Mix techniques and combine unusual qualities together, creating a collection of small samples to take forward into future projects. The intension of the workshop is to inspire and create a broader approach to sustainability, material exploration using waste materials, diverse applications and multi-disciplinary methods. Ultimately inspiring more versatile practice.
