Maker & Material Lab project introduces BA Glass, Ceramics, Metal, Jewellery, Product & textile students to new skills and approaches to create ‘in the spirit of making’. The aim of the two day project was to embed thinking through doing and build on their introduction to materials and processes. The idea of the two days was to explore the themes of ‘Structure, Combine & Bundle’. At the end of the two days, the students had a collection of samples or ideas to take forward into future projects. The students had the option to work independently or collaboratively.
