Draw In Light

While some of the team are in Paris showcasing the Draw In Light fashion label, I have been helping Harry, the DIL legend in the studio, also meeting a very talented man who helps DIL sew garments together and testing my fingers to a little pattern cutting too. Yet another great and exhausiting week in the studio... time to treat myself to a pair of Doc Martins!

Finger Knitting at the Farnham Maltings

Popping up on the 4th Thursday of the month at the Maltings cafe 7pm - 9pm. This time we made yarns from old clothing and created chunky knitted accessories also with a very yummy dinner - for a workshop+dinner only £20 a ticket. To book your place next month contact the Farnham Maltings.

Bentalls Community Project

I was approached by the Bentalls Centre in Kingston to create a new space in the tunnel. The structure was made from giant triangles all connecting together, I thought giant bunting would complement the space nicely.

With only a few weeks to complete this project I decided to reach out to the local community for their creative help. Popping up at Bentalls, Kingston Hospital, the Mosaic group, Fircroft Trust, Kingston Library, 2nd Norbiton Scout Group, running workshops in mono printing and block printing. The final installation is a walking gallery of everyone work showcasing their creativity.

Hen Party

The hen party was held at the Farnham Maltings for the day. The ladies started the day indigo dying yarns, a kimono, Pj's, t-shirts, cushion covers and bags. After a much needed bite to eat, they returned with our final session of block printing.
