Experimental Drawing

In the experimental drawing workshop, we will explore making drawing tools, mark-making, scribbling, repeat patterns, collage, projection, illustration, shape, print, text, performance, and installation. The aim is to help you step out of your comfort zone, engage creatively, play, and experiment with alternative drawing techniques. The studio is transformed into an open environment where everyone can freely mark-make and create abstract artworks for sketchbooks, portfolios, or personal projects. Drawing materials become an extension of your body, be spontaneous and draw with an element of surprise. Explore different materials and work within a mixed-media practice to create a diverse body of work through illustration, print, installation and performance.
